Contractor Program

Be the Hands That Carry the Platform.

Certified Thailand Kids contractors are the support backbone of every partner ministry — provisioning tablets, rolling lessons forward, troubleshooting in the field, and working alongside our engineers to bring the Gospel of Jesus to every corner of Thailand.

The Role

The support layer between partners and engineering.

Contractors run the day-to-day relationship with partner ministries — deploying the platform, keeping content fresh, fixing problems before they reach the classroom, and surfacing real-field needs back into our engineering roadmap.

Deploy & Provision

Set up tablets, configure branding, load initial content, and confirm offline-first behavior in the partner's field context.

Update Lessons

Publish new curriculum, roll forward master library updates, manage version pinning, and coordinate seasonal content drops.

Troubleshoot Field Issues

Diagnose tablet, network, sync, and content problems per user. Resolve in-context or escalate to engineering with full repro data.

Support the Church Version

Operate the church-deployment build — local sync, classroom rollout, parent-and-leader workflows — alongside the broader platform.

Service Tiers

Standard or Enterprise — match the partners you serve.

Contractors certify at the tier they intend to support. You can hold both. Re-certification refreshes every 24 months.

Standard Contractor

Supports Standard-tier partners
  • Deploy + maintain up to 10 partner ministries
  • Read sync access to master library
  • Business-hours support SLA
  • Ticketed escalation to engineering
  • Quarterly platform training sessions

Certification Path

Four stages from applicant to certified contractor.

Designed to confirm technical competence, ministry alignment, and the trust required to be inside a partner's classroom — even when no one is watching.

Application

Background, references, ministry profile, and the partner tier you intend to serve.

Training

Platform fundamentals, lesson publishing, tablet rollout, recovery, and the church-version operating model.

Field Practicum

Shadow an active contractor on a real partner engagement. Complete two supervised deployments end-to-end.

Certification

Final review with Thailand Kids engineering + partner team. Issue credentials + add to the contractor roster.

Technical Competence

Tablet provisioning, sync diagnostics, offline-first deployment, lesson publishing, and a clean handoff back to engineering when issues exceed your scope.

Ministry Alignment

Bible-centered, interdenominational posture. You are not pushing a denominational distinctive into a partner's classroom — you are supporting their ministry to Thai children.

Child Safety & Discretion

Background-check clearance, two-adult ministry context awareness, and discretion handling partner data, child information, and field reports.

Communication Cadence

Clear, timely communication with both partner and engineering. The contractor is the relationship — silence is the failure mode we certify against.

Ongoing Responsibilities

What partners rely on contractors to carry.

Every active contractor maintains these baseline service responsibilities for every partner under their roster.

Lesson Update Cadence

Roll forward master library lessons on the partner's scheduled cadence. Confirm receipt on tablets in the field. Communicate any held-back versions and why.

Church-Version Support

Operate the church-deployment build for partner classrooms — recovery, re-provisioning, version pinning, and back-up restores when needed.

Per-User Troubleshooting

Direct support to the teachers and leaders inside partner ministries. Triage, resolve, document. Never push an unresolved issue back onto a partner without a path forward.

Engineering Liaison

Maintain the working relationship with Thailand Kids engineering. Bring reproducible bugs. Carry roadmap context back to partners. Be the voice of the field in product decisions.

License Health

Track each partner's license status, renewal windows, and tier eligibility. Flag legacy-license partners proactively so they keep what works for their Thai community.

Annual Review

Submit annual service review per partner. Recertify every 24 months. Stay in good standing on the contractor roster.

Application Process

From inquiry to credentialed in roughly 90 days.

We move deliberately. The trust required for this role can't be rushed.

Inquire

Submit application + tier intent.

Interview

30-minute call on ministry fit + technical baseline.

Train

Two-week guided platform training, online.

Practicum

Two supervised deployments with a senior contractor.

Certify

Final review + onboarded to the contractor roster.
